Birches Lakeside Campground offers a vibrant calendar of activities and events to enhance your camping experience. Here’s a glimpse of what we have planned:

• Weekend Activities: Enjoy fun-filled weekends on all Holiday Weekends, from June 14th through September 1^st. , and during the Independence week from June 30th to July 7th. Activities include a patriotic parade, kids and adult crafts, Tye-dye sessions, Mr. Drew and his Animals show, train rides, kids and adult gams and our spectacular fireworks display over the lake.
• Themed Weekends: Join us for themed weekends such as Christmas in July, featuring our 5th annual Christmas boat parade and a special appearance by Santa Claus. Labor Day is our Halloween weekend promises trick-or-treating, a haunted walk, and a Halloween Magic Show.
• Special Dinners: Indulge your appetite with our special dinners, including Prime Rib night, Lobster Feast, or Chili Cook-Off and Bean Hole Beans event.
• Sunset Point Dance: Kick up your heels and dance the night away at Sunset Point.

Great fishing for the professional or for those just looking to enjoy the outdoors. We host several Bass fishing “opens” and tournaments for various chapters of the Maine Bass Federation throughout the season. Our local chapter: Kennebec Valley Bassmasters, has also brought other activities to the campground. We were also pleased to host the Governor’s Cup Charity Bass event in 2003, 2005 again in 2017.

Fishing made easy with our own boat launch and our own marina with boat slip rental by the day/week/season. We also offer kayak/canoe rentals. We also sell bait (worms) in our convenience store along with basic fishing lures and kids fishing poles.
